From the heart of Europe, Miloslav Červený is responsible for graintransports from Eastern to Central and Western Europe on the dense LTE-groups network of routes. "I know my way around very well, after all I've been with the LTE-group for a very long time," Miloslav modestly reveals about his extensive knowledge and his virtuosity with which he uses. In fact: After completing his logistics studies, he found his first fields of activity at LTE SK in Bratislava, where he - starting as a dispatcher - gradually expanded his skills. The concentrated transport monitoring with permanent contact maintenance, the 24/7 helpdesk being one of the specialties of the LTE-group, were followed by calculation, production and project management with intensive customer contact and added up to let a top allrounder grow. "In the meantime I have moved from Slovakia to Austria to work for LTE Holding - responsible for agribusiness here," he reports. "In total, it's been eleven years that I've been connected to LTE."
Thanks to his experience, ranging from the Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania to the Netherlands and Germany, he knows the needs of his clientele and those of all the LTE family, in order to use the advantages of the group in the best possible way. "Our customers include both the largest grain-producing companies and related companies, such as freight forwarders." However, the handling of grain differs significantly from other goods in some respects: "First of all, the business is understandably seasonal, i.e. it focusses on the 3rd and 4th quarter of the year. And, among other things, weather plays an important role, which means that we have to take into account flexibility in order processing at departure and arrival as an important factor for the fastest transports.”
This is where our tried and tested and constantly expanding qualities of the LTE-group come into play: The LTE fleet, one of the most modern in Europe, counts together with an impressive team that usually meets every challenge with competence and enthusiasm. "The best thing I can do is tell a little anecdote: Recently, a customer said that he had to change his partner because we were too slow in transporting things. In this specific case, we steered a shipment through almost the whole of Europe in 48 hours ... Some time later, this customer contacted us to hire us again. The reason: our competitor had quite a few problems, as it took him 1 month (!) for the same route ...
Well, as mentioned before, Milo has now moved to Austria and lives near the center of Vienna, enjoying the extensive opportunities to get involved in sports. "I'm on the 'speedy' track - together with my girlfriend on our inline skates and with friends on the volleyball court where we demonstrate 'speed, precision and team spirit'." And when the two of them enjoy life the most, it is in Greece with one or the other glass of wine and a chat with Poseidon in the sunset.
