Delayed due to the pandemic, the LTE-group celebrated its second decade of success in spring 2022. Now it's the turn of the younger sisters: After the very young LTE BG last week, we are now asking LTE RO to step in front of the curtain, as they are getting ready to celebrate their first 10 years of continuous growth.

George Glavan, MD of LTE RO also takes the opportunity to take a long look back, to where everything began anew at the turn of the 1990s: “I was 16 and, as many like-minded people, used my chance,” he recalls, “Today we're doing better and better in Romania. The migration numbers are deceptive, but fortunately it's not because of the weapons, as it is elsewhere, but because of the system."
LTE's Romanian subsidiary owes its success to George's pioneering spirit - "I want to realize everything I start perfectly". "I've always had the opportunity here, in line with the group's philosophy, to develop our business based on my own experiences and ideas."
Of course this also applies to the consistently growing team: "I think the term 'corporate identity' fits perfectly. When somebody hires with us having just completed their education, they are usually inexperienced in everyday work, but already on the way to becoming perfect team players in LTE RO. I can safely say that, at the end of our first decade, our team is the best you can find in the industry.”
Having created so many pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, that not only made the company successful, but also ensured the quality of life and social security of its employees, it should be high time to lean back ... "I can't afford this luxury," George confirms his commitment, which he and the LTE RO also demonstrate in another context: Two years ago, they began to get involved with the association "Daruieste Viata" ("Give Life"). This association enjoys a high reputation in Romania and, with the support of cultural workers, companies, journalists and influencers, among other things, strives to set up "a children's hospital - a project throughout Romania", which is made possible exclusively by private donations.
This also closes the circle in LTE RO and the entire group, that - in addition to economic success - above all, places the social well-being of their environment at the center of their interests. All according to Justin Capra's motto "always thinking of new ways to benefit the world", which one of the four Transmontana locomotives carries through SE Europe.
