Discussion leader Neele Wesseln (Deputy Managing Director of Netzwerk Europäischer Eisenbahnen DIE GÜTERBAHNEN) welcomed prominent representatives of the industry, who accepted the invitation of the host Andreas Mandl (LTE-group) for an exchange of opinions.
Starting at 10 a.m. Howard Lamb (Port of Rotterdam), Otto Hawlicek (CTE & CTS) and Johann Pluy (ÖBB INFRA) gave their perspective on the current situation of infrastructural facilities from the rail network, intermodal terminals to international ports and also gave an outlook on further developments.
For the second round, LTE welcomed Jochen Weber (GARTNER - "The world of Transport"), Eike Grundmann (ECS) and Gerhard Eibinger (St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences), who exchanged their points of view on the subject of "customer needs" in an objective but nevertheless very intense manner - savory food at lunchtime, so to speak.
Last but not least, Joern Bobzien (Stadler), Feindert Johann (GATX Rail Europe), Christian Kern (ELL - European Locomotive Leasing) and Steffen Bobsien (Siemens Mobility) provided their views and insights into the world of locomotives and freight cars on the subject "Resources for freight transport" for the numerous interested visitors.
