Just as the LTE-group is an important partner for Koper and Trieste, the other ports in the Adriatic region are also developing into sought-after hubs for Austrian companies. The visitors of the already traditional “South Harbor Forum” organized by VNL, Verein Netzwerk Logistik, in the premises of CCG, Cargo Center Graz, were captivated by this topic.

Host Christian Steindl was not only happy about the fully booked event, but also about the explosiveness of the topic and the participating guests. Because the ports in the Mediterranean, in the classic sense of the "mare nostrum", as the Romans had already described as their homeland and their area of influence, are gradually overtaking their “colleagues in the north”, such as Hamburg.
In LTE-group's understanding, Koper and Trieste and their routes via north are the focus of our interests: the port of Koper with CCG as a hub in the hinterland and the long-standing partnership with Adria Transport, and recently also Trieste, where LTE IT operates since the turn of the year 2022/23. “As a reliable partner, we take over transports further north via the bridgehead CCG,” confirms Heinrich Juritsch, Managing Director of LTE AT. “After all, Koper is the most important port for Austria’s foreign trade.” Francesco Bacarini, Managing Director of LTE IT, from Trieste echoes a similar sentiment. It is important for him and his team to realize his visions: “We only started operational business a few months ago with the aim of acquiring their legendary catalog of services, integrated into the LTE network. Things are going extremely well and, based on our discussions, we are confident that we will soon be able to put these visions into practice.”
In other words: “Sola constans in universo est mutatio” (Heraclitus), or more understandable and equally mandate to the team: “Only change is constant” (Andreas Mandl, CEO LTE-group).
