When we - at LTE-group - see one of our trains passing by, fully loaded with automobiles, chemicals or other goods, it makes our "railroaders' hearts" happy. For many years we have maintained a special partnership with Special Olympics Austria, who are dedicated to supporting people with intellectual disabilities through sports activities. This collaboration is particularly important to us, because it not only honors their sporting achievements, but also highlights the inspiring lifestyle of the athletes, supervisors and organizers.
Andreas Mandl and Michael Benda (CEO and CFO of the LTE-group) once again had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Special Olympics Austria to our head office in Gramatneusiedl. It was an encounter full of moving moments and stories. Experiencing how these athletes get the best out of themselves despite their handicaps is always a source of inspiration for all of us. Their determination and fighting spirit teach us that any challenge can be overcome if one has the will to do so.
The atmosphere during the visit was extremely heartful. It was a pleasure to feel the enthusiasm and positive energy of our guests. Their passion for sport and joy for life is intoxicating and remind us of the importance of overcoming obstacles and living life to the fullest.
In return, our enthusiasm about the presence of our brand new “Grainy Day” locomotive was able to infect the delegation as well. Of course, photos had to be taken here too - after all, you don't get the pleasure of being able to examine one of our locomotives up close in peace and quiet very often.
We at LTE are already looking forward to the next meeting with Special Olympics Austria. For us, this partnership is more than just a collaboration - it is a source of inspiration and a reminder that every person, regardless of their abilities, can achieve great things.
