For once the focus here is not on the LTE-group, but on our colleagues Ronja and Dorina Klinger, who won their first Austrian National Championships on the beach volleyball court of Baden.

“We finished second in the last three years, so it was high time to finally call ourselves number 1 of Austria,” Dorina and Ronja report overjoyed. “We managed to win the tournament without losing a single set and this victory crowns our triple gold: 3 tournaments, 3 gold medals. We can hardly believe it and are incredibly proud of it and of everyone who contributed to it.”
Three tournaments won, 15 wins in a row and 30 sets won: The two were unbeatable in the “summer tournaments”, most recently at the home tournament in Baden. “Finishing first in Warsaw we were able to secure our ticket to the World Cup. And in Baden we were not only able to shine live on TV, but also in front of family and friends,” the two say happily. “The fact that we were able to win our first state championship title gives us an incredible amount of strength for the future.”
The future has already begun: After training in Italy, we went to Paris for a tournament of the highest category, Roland Garros, before Ronja and Dorina take part in a world championship for the first time in Tlaxcala (Mexico).
Another extremely responsible task awaits us at LTE in the next few days: keeping fingers crossed...
